Good news, Swordfish was pretty decent. It is a little flakyswordfish tends to be but in a good way. (ok, enough fish jokes)A much needed and overdue (again) good John Travolta juicy character and Hugh Jackman resume looking better and better. How many times can one actor resurrect his career (well, at least once more). Interesting to see 2 of the x-men actors working together so soon, and I actually liked Halle Berry role although the word "gratuitous nudity" has risen to a new level. Someone seems to have issues with women somewhere in the production. Pleasant surprise for you Lock Stock 2 Smoking Barrel fansVinnie Jones makes a small appearance (as a heavy of course) and Don Cheadle turns another nice rolla seriously beaten down agent. Some of the effects were a little tricked up (but I got to admit still cool and yes we are in full Summer movie mode)and I "heard" a few audience members collective rolling of the eyes so to speak in the Matrix 180 slo-mo bullet shot that every movie borrows now in some way. For a summer movie it had enough name actors, decent dialogue, action and even some twists and turns to keep things interesting.<br/><br/>Ok, on the subject of dialogue can we please use a technical advisor?!- I am getting defeated by the techno babble,an IT person some of the tech talk was frankly out there other than some generic firewall /128 encryption talk (not to make anyone reading this nod off yet).<br/><br/>I found it especially different in its treatment of the good guy and the bad guyall participants were allowed some flaws. Not every character is completely good or evil and it does have some fun with who exactly employees these characters. Last but not least, I enjoyed the Hollywood speech delivery.
By the third big climax the audience started to get impatient with the movie's pointless zigs and zags.
